In ten weeks' time, on 1 July, the third Point Zero Forum will start in Zurich. This Annual Forum convenes 2,000 central bankers, regulators, policymakers, industry leaders, technologists and investors to address the latest developments in financial technology and the future of finance. The recently published programme is titled "Balancing on the Edge: Harnessing Technological Promise in the Shadow of Global Risks".

In addition to the main stage, workshops and roundtables, this year's Point Zero Forum will have a new feature: an Insights stage focusing on sustainable finance. It will also facilitate an intensive exchange between entrepreneurs, investors and innovative start-ups.

Swiss Workshops and Round Tables

The wide range of international workshops and round tables will also include several Swiss events. For example, the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA will host a workshop on "Data-based banking supervision using AI". The Swiss National Bank will present its Helvetia III project, one of the world's first wholesale CBDC pilots. The State Secretariat for International Financial Matters (SIF), together with the Green Fintech Network, will present its work in this area and discuss the use of AI in the financial sector.
