High-level financial contacts at the World Economic Forum in Davos

From 15-19 January 2024, numerous political and business leaders met at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Swiss Finance Minister Karin Keller-Sutter also took the opportunity to cultivate high-ranking contacts in the snow-covered Swiss Alps.
Karin Keller-Sutter met with the president of the Financial Stability Board, Klaas Knot, among others, in Davos to discuss international financial stability.
She also discussed the impact of geopolitical challenges on international economic development with IMF’s Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.
The 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum provided a crucial space to focus on the fundamental principles driving trust, including transparency, consistency and accountability. This Annual Meeting welcomed over 100 governments, all major international organizations, 1000 Forum’s Partners, as well as civil society leaders, experts, youth representatives, social entrepreneurs, and news outlets.
